Coming Soon

Coming soon, exclusively in ebook format, to online retailers near you. :)

I might redesign the covers before they hit the marketplace, but I think these are final. :)

This pimp can write and design? That’s a double-threat right there.

Oh, AWESOME! I’ve been hoping I’d get to read the rest of the 7th Son story and will snap up books 2 and 3 as well as the prequel as soon as they’re available. :D

DAMN MY COLLECTOR’S MENTALITY! Am I the only one who bought a hardcover of “Descent”? I really wnat to read teh rest of this saga, but that one lone hardback on the shelf will HAUNT me. Any plans yet for physical copies…?

    • J.C. Hutchins January 26, 2012 at 2:57 pm #

There are no plans for print editions, sorry.

      • J March 2, 2012 at 2:03 pm #

Ever? So we’ll always have Book 1 sitting on our shelf, alone?

        • J.C. Hutchins March 3, 2012 at 5:50 pm #

There are no plans to release the sequels in print at this time, sorry.

    Pretty cool covers.

Although, I must ask: as someone who doesn’t own an iPad/nook/Kindle/etc, will I still be able to read these?

    • J.C. Hutchins January 26, 2012 at 4:52 pm #

There are no plans for print editions. As I mentioned in the post, the books will be released as ebooks only.

      • Brandon Winrich January 26, 2012 at 11:29 pm #

Ah, I didn’t write my message clearly enough. What I meant to say was, is there a way to read these without a dedicated ebook device? (I’m really new to this form of publishing)

        • J.C. Hutchins January 26, 2012 at 11:43 pm #

You should be able to read the ebook on your PC with the proper software, yep. :)

        • Missy January 27, 2012 at 3:08 am #

If you have smartphone of any kind you should be able to download the free Kindle app on it. It’s not a bad way to read books either. You should look it up. Just go to Amazon.com for details. That’s how I started reading books again.

    I didn’t spot it right away and maybe others here would like to know;
Are these 7th Son 2.0 redux version or are they the originals?
    Thanks JC.
    Color these mine!

    • J.C. Hutchins January 27, 2012 at 1:12 am #

The books will reflect the continuity seen in the print edition of Descent … though, as with Descent, more than 90 percent of the content will be the same.

Where’s the pre-order link? I don’t do well waiting for “soon”.

My Kindle is stoked and I’m a bit excited as well! ;)

    • J.C. Hutchins January 27, 2012 at 10:42 am #

      There’s no pre-order option … yet. Hutch has a plan. :)

This will finally let a friend of mine read books 2 & 3, lent her my copy of book 1 and she wants to get the rest of the story but I couldn’t convince her to listen to the podcast version :)

Beta Clone 216 reporting. I comply. Any chance of getting Obsidian too? I would love the full 7th Son Experience.

    • J.C. Hutchins February 4, 2012 at 10:32 am #

Thanks, Steven! “Obsidian” might be released, but it will depend greatly on how these books sell. We’ll see! :)
