Two days ago, the wife of podcaster and author Tee Morris died unexpectedly. In addition to the devastating loss, Tee now faces the challenge of raising his daughter as a single dad.
I spoke to Tee on the evening of his wife’s death. Despite the incalculable loss, the eternal optimism Tee is known for was still there, in his voice. He was deeply moved by the support the community had shown for him, and appreciative.
We cannot change yesterday, but we can help ensure Tee and his daughter have a brighter tomorrow. Please help them by contributing to a fund that will help cover funeral costs, and create a trust for his daughter. Give generously, if you can.

I was shocked to hear this news. My thoughts go out to Tee and his whole family. I only wish I could do more. As one Dad to another, Tee, hang in there.
I’m tearing up a little bit.
Thank you for this, JC. I don’t have the words to tell you how much I appreciate your plea. Just… thanks…
As a father of four daughters, my heart goes out Tee and his child. Thank you everyone in the community for stepping forward to offer words of comfort and also support in this difficult time. Words cannot express. . .
I was so very sorry to hear this. Tee and his daughte r have my deepest sympathies. Thank you JC and Philippa for giving the podcasting community & fans a way to express the hope for a brighter tomorrow for them.
My jaw is on the floor, and my heart sank with it. I was in touch with Tee just before CES and was so busy there, while I saw CC Chapman’s tweet about someone’s wife passing, I just now saw this post to find it was Tee. Tee is a tremendous talent, and a wonderful, giving person, and I cannot begin to imagine the scope of his loss. My deepest sympathies to him and his daughter, and the rest of the family… I am so, so, saddened and sorry to hear this news.
Thanks so much for your most fitting words about Tee and the situation he family faces. It means a lot to put the word out to the whole of the Beta Clone Army. *salute*
Thank you for the post, J.C. I’ve been away so long I just heard when I was catching up on your site. Tee is an an icon and kind, ebuliant spirit that made me feel welcomed into the podcasting family. My thoughts and brightest blessings to Tee and his family.
I’m very sorry to hear it… I wish – belated – everything warm and good to Tee Morris and to his daughter.
