Hot damn! Personal Effects: Dark Art continues to chug along most mightily as J.C. serves up another State of the Book address. Highlights also include: J.C. going off on a 1980s G.I. Joe cartoon tangent, J.C. nearly choking to death on-air, the return of the invisible toasting glass, J.C. chatting about the Sword of Blood giveaway, and the new goal we have as Personal Effects fans — the 4 for 400 for 4,000 campaign.

My brother’s birthday is coming up. Guess what he’s getting from me…?
JC, you made today an awesome day for me. I downloaded this last night and put on my ipod and listened to it on my way to work and finished in the parking lot. I heard my name on there and I was, as you said, grinning ear to ear. This just set the stage for today. I know its still a month away before its choosen and i really do hope others enter, it would make it so that if i do with its that much cooler. But to be mentioned in a audio blog like that was awesome! Thanks again JC.
