I have been checking on this post every few months for an update. Just wondering if there has been any movement? Since your first podcast/audio book chapter I have been an avid follower and would love to see this story on the big screen. Thanks for any update. BTW I have listened to the full 7th Son 8 times now. LIVE IT

This news is just too awesome for words. Wait, I’m writing words, aren’t I? Now you’ve gone and confused me.

Anyway, what can we do to help ensure Warner Bros. knows how much we want this to go all the way through? This property just begs for the big-screen treatment, as so many of the sequences and thrills you put together with these novels would create an incredibly visceral thrill in visual form. I genuinely believe it could be much, much better than the Bourne films, especially if it stays true to the source, unlike the Bourne films.

Now to save up the money to renew my lapsed SAG membership in time for casting…

I’m stunned. In a good way. Many congratulations, (“no, the OTHER”) J.C. We all knew 7th Son had legs, and now it turns out those legs are bionic. I’m eager to see where this goes.

Way to go, Hutch. We knew you were good at coming up with kick-keister plots and memorable characters, and you’re continuing to show it with Personal Effects. Nor will it all stop there.

GOOD LUCK with this J.C. The 7th Son trilogy will absolutely make three ultra-summer blockbusters in a row. Let us (the Beta Clones) know who we have to bug to get this thing made. Ultimately this is more incentive for everybody to pre-order a copy of the book…or maybe two or three or four copies of the book.
