Back in the 80′s and 90′s I did Star Trek parody plays for our sci-fi conventions. (Yes,we also shot video, so they may reach the ‘net). You would have fit right in with us, sir.

As a filmmaker, I am offended…Just kidding. I have a bunch of tapes like this from my early 16 year old attempts at making movies. But, nothing with such an ambitious story and scope.

It made me laugh, it made me cry…It made me want to wear an afghan to work tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing! I love how Adam plays the Captains and your everybody else. I have similar memories creating goofy movies at the same age. Sadly, I don’t think I have the tapes for any of it.

We did a lot of parody such as “Grambo: First Blood” (Rambo’s grandma), “Hawaii Jive-O”, and “Enemy Yours”. Also original masterpieces such as “The Icky Ninja Blood Wars” and “Quest for the Goblin’s Butt”.

You know, I think I still have a tape of me at 16 lip syncing Metallica at a place in the mall that did music videos. I’ll have to dig it up and post it.

seriously. I remember playing Star Wars games as a kid..sadly, no video cameras were around for it, but watching this slice of your childhood brought back fond memories.

How ironic…. I recently found a VHS tape at my father’s house from when my family and I visited Universal Studios… The Star Trek Experience…. And I was a Klingon. Go fig.
