Writing this short story was a real killer on two fronts: This is my first try at the Thriller genre, and this was for Hutch. We joke, we trash talk, and we challenge each other in the podcast fiction arena, but I have been a fan of 7th Son from the beginning. I didn’t want to let the Clones down, and I also wanted to meet Hutch’s expectations. From the early feedback, it appears I did both.

Thank you all for the kind words, support, criticisms, and investment of time. I hope, when “Miles To Go…” concludes, it is looked upon as time well spent.

And thank you, Hutch. It was a real delight getting a chance to explore your world…and to write a short story that features the trademark transition we all know from your trilogy. :^)

Tee definately brought his A game to the 7th Son Universe. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the stories from the blackout unfold, and to EXPERIENCE Code Phantom (won’t spoiler the real title for those that haven’t listened yet) when it is released. You continue to outdo yourself, J.C.
